The Ultimate Politics Survey

Describe your stance on:

Abortion: Pro-Choice. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean you have the right to tell women what to do with their own bodies.

Affirmative Action: No longer necessary.

Age of Consent: Should be based on maturity, not your birthday and "offenders" should not be prosecuted if the only people complaining about it is the government.

Animal Testing: A necessary evil, but should be done as humanely as possible, and treating the animals like they're people, not inanimate objects.

Death Penalty: Life inprisonment is a better deterrent, and a harsher punishment.

Downloading Music/Movies: Blown wayyy out of proportion. Many of the CDs I own would not have been purchased if I hadn't first downloaded their songs.

Drug Decriminalization: Uncertain, but I definitely thing restrictions should at least be relaxed in some areas, such as using marijuana to ease the pain of chronic disease.

Factory Farming: Not good. Just because we eat these animals doesn't mean we have the right to treat them like shit.

Free Trade: I don't know much at all about this, so I'll withhold an opinion until I actually know what I'm talking about. ;)

Funding of Arts: VERY good idea.

Gay Marriage: Get over yourselves and your religious prejudices and just fucking legalize it. How exactly are two people who are happy and in love a threat?

Gun Control: As Robin Williams once said, "In England, the police don't have a gun, and you don't have a gun, so if you commit a crime, it's 'Stop! Or I'll say stop again!'" It's a nice idea, not having everyone shooting at everyone else, isn't it?

Immigration: Don't know much about the issues. See my stance on free trade. :P

Hardcore Pornography: I don't see a problem with it.

Human Cloning: Cloning a whole person -- nuh uh. Using a person's DNA to clone new parts/organs/whatever due to disease is fine, but no Mini-Mes, please.

Miltary Draft: I have ultimate control of my body, thanks, and if I'm going to be putting it in danger in defense of a country, I'd damn well better be doing it willingly.

Minimum Wage: Not high enough. Needs to be enough that a person can actually live off of it.

Prostitution: Legalize it, regulate it, tax it.

School Vouchers: I'm not sure what this is.

Taxes: Seems pretty straightforward to me. More money = more taxes. Less money = less taxes.

United Nations: Don't know much about this, either. Gee, I'm living in a bubble, aren't I? :P

Universal Health Care: A very very VERY good idea.

War on Terrorism: A good idea in theory, but we're not going about it very wisely.

Welfare: A good thing, but there needs to be some mechanism for getting jobs for those who are able to work, and the focus needs to be on getting them self-sufficient and off of it.
