Someone in chat today was showing off pictures of his bedroom, so I got inspired to dig up my webcam and take some pics of my dorm room. :) Figured y'all might like to see where I'm spending the year. ;)
The left side of my desk. Don't let the absence of stuff on the desk fool you--that's where my laptop goes. ;)

The bookshelf above my desk. I actually brought about twice that many books--plus all the ones I had to buy for classes--but I moved most of them down to my lowest desk drawer so that I could get my printer up there, and off of my desk.
The wall above my desk, with my message-board type thingie. The yellow circle is my pin from Dale that says "Conform, go crazy, or become a writer".

You may want to use the lj-cut tag for something like this. Just try this:
